From the perspective of the offscreen Lucidscale user driving the video, a series of Slack message is shown being received from someone named Eddy asking, “Could you send me a digram of our current infrastructure? ASAP, please?” The Lucidscale users clicks a button in Lucidscale to import data, selects Azure import, inputs some Azure account information, then clicks “Generate” to see their entire complex Azure architecture displayed in seconds in Lucidscale. A second set of messages comes in from Gina: “We need to discuss what happened when the site went down. Can you prep a diagram for the part that caused the issue?” The Lucidscale user selects from a drop down and quickly filters down to the application level, and then sends the filtered segment of their Lucidscale diagram to Gina. A third set of messages from Paul asks, “Can you make an updated diagram for our architecture review?” The Lucidscale users simply clicks a button that says “Refresh Architecture”, and it’s updated automatically in seconds. A request comes in from Dorothy: “Are all our VM scale sets accounted for in our billings group?” The user quickly identifies and tags Dorothy in the VM scale set to alert her to the missing tag. A series of messages comes in from all of the people who had previously messaged the Lucidscale user, thanking them for how quick and fast they were able to respond to the various cloud questions and issues. And end frame shows the Lucidscale logo and call to action to start a free trial.
Director of Network Operations
At Informatica, the architects design and the developers develop code. And getting both on the same page is always a challenge—Lucidscale gives us a great resource between them.
Maintain accurate documentation
Import and refresh the data backing your cloud architecture diagram with Azure AD application credentials. Any changes made are reflected wherever your diagrams are referenced, like your Confluence pages.
Customize your diagram views
Remove unnecessary details to pinpoint what’s important—filter by criteria, such as Azure tags, virtual networks, and more. Customize and save views, like high-level overviews of subscriptions and resource groups, and virtual network peering connections of your Azure environment.
Visualize and leverage key data
Easily find and reference your data in context of your Azure diagram without going to your Azure console. Apply conditional formatting rules to visually flag resources that violate best practices, such as unencrypted databases.
Plan future cloud architectures
Automatically generate a diagram of your current cloud infrastructure to give you an accurate starting point to propose new architecture designs. Check that new development will work with existing infrastructure to help prevent performance issues from occurring later.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders
Get buy-in, gain alignment, and gather feedback from all collaborators—including technical and non-technical stakeholders—using sharing and commenting features to avoid miscommunication and resolve incidents faster.
